About: For more than fifty years, they have been fighting for women’s reproductive rights in Minnesota. Although their goals and tactics have changed throughout the years with the political climate, their fundamental ideals have remained the same: that reproductive choice is a constitutional right essential to women’s lives, and that abortion should be safe, legal, and accessible. Until October 1st, 2021, Pro Choice Minnesota was an affiliate of NARAL Pro-Choice America. They now exist as an independent organization, separate from their network. Their name changed, but their work will not. They continue to believe that the most important work to protect abortion is done at the state level.

About: UnRestrict Minnesota works to protect, expand, and destigmatize access to abortion care—and all reproductive healthcare—in Minnesota through public education, advocacy, and the law. Their vision is to achieve full reproductive justice, an organizing framework created by Black women where every person has the ability to decide if, when, and how to become a parent; raise healthy children in safe and thriving communities;and have gender freedom and bodily autonomy. They are led by a multi-racial coalition of LGBTQ+ advocates, faith communities, clinicians, activists, doctors, abortion funds, lawyers, organizers, healthcare clinics, doulas, podcasts, and more. About: Founded in 1967 by a small group of doctors, clergy, and community members to assist Minnesota women in accessing abortion care – Our Justice has always worked to provide people with the resources they need now, while also advocating for policy change that would make these resources more available and remove many of these challenges altogether.
Gender Justice

About: Gender Justice envisions a world where everyone can thrive regardless of their gender, gender expression, or sexual orientation. Step by step, they’re creating that world by dismantling legal, structural, and cultural barriers that contribute to gender inequity. They work to ensure that people of all genders have a meaningful right to bodily autonomy, safety, health, and opportunity.

About: The SPIRAL Collective is a volunteer full-spectrum reproductive options and support group comprised of doulas, birth-workers, and passionate reproductive justice advocates based in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, occupied Dakhóta territories.
Family Tree Clinic

About: Family Tree Clinic has been around for 50 years. And during those years, they’ve never turned a patient away if they couldn’t pay. Why? Because they have a deep understanding of the importance of reproductive and sexual health services. Poverty, oppression, lack of access and discrimination are just a handful of the barriers the people we serve face when it comes to getting their health care needs met. They are determined to change that. They believe each individual person is deserving of not only high-quality and affordable services, but also of affirming, individualized, and respectful care. It’s what people should expect from their health care providers. .

About: Founded in 2008, Abortion Care Network (ACN) is the national association for independent community-based, abortion care providers and their allies. Together we work to ensure the rights of all people to experience respectful, dignified abortion care. Independent abortion providers care for the majority of people seeking abortion in the U.S. – often serving individuals and families with the fewest resources and in the most rural parts of our nation.

About: Founded in 1992, the Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota Action Fund is an independent, non-partisan, non-profit organization. As the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota, we mobilize supporters of all parties to defend and increase access to family planning services, safe and legal abortion, and fact-based, medically accurate sexuality education.

About: Whole Woman’s Health is a privately-owned, feminist healthcare management company committed to providing holistic care for all. They manage health clinics providing comprehensive gynecology services, including abortion care. It is their philosophy that everyone must be at the center of their own healthcare decisions, and that treating people holistically — honoring head, heart, and body — will better serve and improve health and happiness of our communities.
WE Health Clinic

About: At WE Health Clinic, they believe everyone should be in control of their own sexual and reproductive health. WE Health Clinic strives to help their patients make informed and confident health decisions. They are the only abortion provider in Northern Minnesota, Northern Wisconsin, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Since 1981 they have been providing sexual, reproductive, and abortion services as Women’s Health Center, and starting in 2019, as WE Health Clinic. In 2018/2019 they expanded their services to include gender-affirming hormone care and PrEP therapy to better serve their community. They also changed their name to WE Health Clinic in order to better represent their patients and the services they provide.
